Souleymane Bachir Diaw (born in 1995) is a Senegalese photographer living between Dakar and Paris. He is a founding member of the art collective Atelier Ndokette.

A self-taught photographer, he has found in this medium, at the edge between documentary and staging, a way to express, experiment and tell the realities he lives. Photography represents for him a tool for meeting and discussion, allowing him to put into shape the memory of the links he weaves, and the way his relationship to the world is transformed.

His work is regularly exhibited in France and Europe: AKAA FAIR, with Atelier Ndokette (Paris, 2021), Photo Schweiz (Switzerland, 2020), Rotterdam Foto Festival (Netherlands, 2019). Winner with Atelier Ndokette of the Ellipse Prize 2021, the collective benefits the same year from a residency at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris.

His photographs have been published in Oath Magazine (Vol. II, 2020).

He is part of the 100 artists selected for the PhotoVogue Global Open Call: "The Next Great Image Makers".
